CHSAA Distinguished Alumni
   Each year the Centralia High School Alumni Association recognizes distinguished alumni from all walks of life and occupations.  Jay E. Niepoetter was a member of the induction class of 2013 and was honored in ceremonies at the high school and the Elks Lodge.  see photos

Has performed in 48 states, Europe & Russia

Has taught clarinet at a variety of levels and schools

Has performed with a number of artists
including Aretha
Franklin, Trisha Yearwood & Marvin Hamlisch

Received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal

Received the Homer Ulrich Honors Award
for  Outstanding
Solo Performance

Received the Outstanding Young Alumni
from Northern
Illinois University
