Each year the Centralia High
School Alumni Association recognizes
distinguished alumni from all walks of life and
occupations. Major General Thomas Eggers was a member of
the induction class of 2010 and was honored
in ceremonies at the high school and the
historical museum. see

bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy
Received a Master’s degree in Systems Analysis in 1972
Attended both the Air War College and the National War College
Served as a Command pilot with more than 5,000 flight hours
Served in numerous commands and positions of leadership
Promoted to Major General in 1989
Received numerous awards and decorations including
the Distinguished Service Medal
the Distinguished Flying Cross
and the Air Force Commendation Medal
